Warner Bros Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter! x

Hello my lovely people of the internet! I'm in England again at the moment and the weather hasn't been great which sucks because I was going to go to London today! Your probably all aware that this post is going up on a Monday instead of a Sunday, I'm really sorry for that, I had this all pre-planned and everything but the day after I went to the Warner Bros Studio, it turned out I was supposed to be going to visit my family so I couldn't upload! Ugh. *drowns my sorrows in pizza*

Anyways, I had an A.M.A.Z.I.N.G time at WBST! I went with my sister and her boyfriend (as they got the tickets for me for Christmas, thanks Ems&Craig!) and honestly, I'm not a massive wannabe Harry Potter fan but it was seriously so good! Everything that we got to see was the real deal, the real costumes, sets, props. When watching the film you don't really appreciate how much effort went in to the whole production, but in the studios I saw things that went on behind the scenes, how they did the special was beyond amazing. Did you know that every single wand in Ollivander's Wand Shop in Harry Potter were hand painted and decorated? How crazy is that?!

I could sit here all day going on and on about what I saw and experienced on my journey through this magical place, so instead, I took some photos for you guys so that you could join me too...

First I got a Strawberries&Cream Frap from Starbucks (shock horror), hopped in the queue with my Passport, and made my way through the studio...

                                     The Great Hall

The Boys Gryffindor Dorm

The Secret Staircase

The Door to the Chamber of Secrets

Wizard Chess

The Knight Bus

The Hogwarts Express

Finally, I finished the day with a Chocolate Frog,  a packet of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Jelly Beans and a Butter Beer (get me a gallon of that stuff and I'm sorted for life:)

I loved every minute of it, it was such an amazing experience! If there are any hardcore Harry Potter fans out there I highly recommend going, you'll love it!

I just want to say that I wasn't paid or sponsored in any way and all opinions are my own. Also, sorry about the quality of these photos as I used my iPhone to take pictures, a new camera is so going on my Christmas list this year!

I hope you enjoyed this week's post and again, sorry it was a tad late:(

I love youuu<3

My July Favourites! x

Hey guys it's Megs again, how are you all? How's your summer going? As I couldn't upload last week, I figured I would give you a double whammy to make up for it so yes, there are two new posts, woop woop! And as it's come to the end of July, I wanted to do another favourites but can I even post this seeing as it's currently the 8th of August?! Oh well, Hakuna Matata n all that:)

My long list of favourites start with a book which I've been wanting to read for a while now. It's called If I Stay by Gayle Forman and I'm not gonna lie I nearly teared up a bit reading it! It's about...well I can't really explain without giving the whole plot away! I know this is probably the worst book review you've ever read but just know that she has to make a choice that could lead to life or death...

Next is a beauty fave and it is by no mistake, the Stila Eyes Are The Window palette! Now this is a tad pricey at £30.00 but I saved up for it and I'm happy I did as The pigmentation on these eyeshadows are insane and the colours are gorgeous, as well as the rose gold packaging (which was part of what made me want it sorrynotsorry). I've been using Kitten (top left) all over my lid when I want a natural eye look and Wheat (third down on the left) with Golightly (third down in the middle) in the crease for something a bit more special!

If you've been following my Instagram lately, @wellandtrulyspanglishx , you might of seen my post about the Essence Gel Nail Polish that I've been loving! It's kind of a pearly pink colour with flecks of glitter but it's very sheer so I tend to do quite a few overcoats with it to make a nice base colour before I put a clear top coat on over the top! When I was at the Essence display (having not tried any of their nail varnishes before, I only picked up one) there were lots more colours in their gel range so I reckon I might have to go back there to pick up a few more<3

A quick accessory fave I've found has been this triangle necklace from Primark (I'm not sure if it has a proper name or not so I'm just gonna call it the triangle necklace:). I've been wearing this with anything and everything! It goes with so much and for only £3.00 I think it was a bargain as it can smarten a casual outfit or make a smart outfit more casual<3

I know this is getting kind of long so I'm going to try and make it shorter now:) My last 2 favourites have been the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in the shade 15 because I needed a new concealer and I heard some pretty good reviews so I decided to get it and it's been so good! And last of all, my song favourite for July has been Shine by Years&Years because I play it constantly and know all the words and yee<3

Sorry for this being long, I just felt like I should go into more depth with everything this time! Be sure to go check out my other post: What's In My Travel Makeup Bag!

So to finish this off I want to say a big thank you for the 300 reads I got last month!! Crazy or what?!

I love you guysss<3

What's In My Travel Makeup Bag? x

Hey guys! Even though I've not done one of these before, I thought I would try it seeing as it's SummerTime n all! *cue Summertime by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince* :)  I try to keep my makeup bag as small as possible buttt it doesn't really work sometimes haha:\

I start off with my Zoella Cosmetics bag because it holds alot (and it's really cute!)

Then I pack the following brushes:

1. Kiko Dare Games Face Brush (powder)

2. Estee Lauder Face Brush (bronzer)

3. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush (foundation & blending)

4. Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Face Brush (highlighter/blush)

5. Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush (for the eyelid)

6. Real Techniques Angle Shadow Brush (for the crease)

Because it's quite hot and muggy in Spain at the moment, I tend not to wear foundation day-to-day (just concealer and powder, etc) and to be honest I think I prefer it! It just makes the whole thing look a lot more natural.

So to start off with the base, I pack:

1. Maybelline Baby Skin Primer

2. Maybelline Fit Me concealer in the shade 15 (this is an all-rounder!)

3. YSL Touche Eclat (for under the eyes)

3. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in the shade 002 Pink Blossom

4. Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer in the shade 03

5. Benefit Georgia Blush

 Then for the eyes:

 1. No7 Youthful Eye Serum, Travel size

2.The Balm Put A Lid On It Eye Primer, Travel size

3. Maybelline 24Hour Colour Tattoo in On & On Bronze

4. L'oreal Volume Million Excess Mascara (next to the Maybelline Lash Sensational this is my Holy Grail!)

5. Eyelure Brow Control & Shape Gel in Clear

6. Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Lionfish

And finally, for the lips:

1. EOS Lip Balm in Sweet Mint

2. Revlon Colorburst in 105 Demure

3. Stila Lip Glaze in Gleam

Last but not least I like to pack some of those stretchy elastic hair ties (the ones that don't leave a cink in your hair) because they can be really handy when you want to put your hair up but you don't want a horrile mark in the middle of your hair which stops you from leaving it down! And I swear I'm taking this wherever I go, but  I pack a mini sample of the new Escada perfume because It literally smells like summer in a bottle and the samples are perfect for travelling as they can fit easily into your pocket/purse! I also tend to pack a pocket mirror so I can just fling it in my bag, they always come in handy somehow!

So that's it! That is everything I pack in my travel makeup bag! I hope you all liked it and go checkout my other posts for more!

I love youuu<3
